Kylian Mbappe was shocked when he heard the news that England were 0-1 down by Slovakia in the final minutes of the round of 16 match.
The France captain spoke at a press conference ahead of the match against Belgium and was keen to hear news from England's game.
Slovakia almost secured their greatest ever win when they led 1-0 against Gareth Southgate's side until the 90+5 minute.
Ivan Schranz gave Slovakia the lead in the 25th minute, but England tried to equalise but failed. It was not until the 90+5 minute that Mbappe's Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham scored to send the match into extra time. Harry Kane then scored to seal a 2-1 comeback win.
Mbappe ended the press conference with England trailing and when he heard the score, he was surprised and exclaimed "crazy".
Mbappe will be hoping to extend his stay at the European Championships when they face Belgium. Les Blues coach Didier Deschamps is reliant on Mbappe being at his best but he has had a shaky start to the tournament, breaking his nose against Austria before missing the Netherlands game.
